Terms of Service

KINVA is a nonclinical AI thinking tool. It matches users with AI thought partners designed to help them reflect, examine ideas, and think through everyday decisions, questions, and experiences.

KINVA is not therapy, medical care, diagnosis, treatment, crisis care, or professional advice. Thought partners are artificial intelligence, not people. KINVA is not a substitute for qualified human support.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. By using KINVA, you represent that you meet these requirements.

KINVA is currently intended for individual, personal use. You may not use another person’s account or allow someone else to use yours.

You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity conducted through it.

Contact us promptly at alex@mykinva.com if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

We may refuse, restrict, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect the service, comply with law, or prevent harm.

You may use KINVA only for personal and lawful purposes.

You may not:

• Violate any law or another person’s rights
• Harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or harm another person
• Submit content you do not have permission to use
• Attempt to bypass KINVA’s safety, access, or security systems
• Gain unauthorized access to another account, system, or network
• Introduce malware or interfere with KINVA’s operation
• Scrape, reverse engineer, copy, or access KINVA through unauthorized automated means
• Resell KINVA or use it to develop or train a competing product
• Present AI-generated responses as medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice

KINVA uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, repetitive, inappropriate, or unsuitable for a particular situation.

You are responsible for evaluating what a thought partner says and for any decisions or actions you take. KINVA is designed to support your thinking, not replace your judgment or decide what is true for you.

Do not rely on KINVA for medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other professional advice. Independently verify information when accuracy matters.

AI-generated responses may not be unique. Other users may receive similar output, and intellectual-property rights in AI-generated material may be limited under applicable law.

KINVA is not a crisis service, is not monitored in real time, and cannot provide emergency assistance.

“Your Content” means messages, survey responses, feedback, and other information you submit through KINVA. You retain any rights you have in Your Content.

You give KINVA a limited, nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and support the service. This includes generating thought-partner responses, preserving conversation history and continuity, and responding to support requests you initiate.

This permission does not allow KINVA to sell your conversations, share them with advertisers, or use them to train AI models. How information is processed and retained is explained in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit Your Content. Use care when sharing personal information about another person.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information KINVA collects, how it is used, when service providers process it, how long it may be retained, and how you can access or delete it.

KINVA relies on third-party providers for functions such as AI response generation, authentication, hosting, data storage, analytics, security, and email delivery. Their availability and performance may affect KINVA’s operation.

KINVA’s software, design, branding, content, conversation architecture, and underlying systems are owned by Alexandria Glaize or the applicable licensors.

These Terms give you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, and revocable right to use KINVA in accordance with these Terms. They do not transfer ownership of KINVA’s technology or intellectual property to you.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, or create derivative products from KINVA except where applicable law expressly permits it.

If you voluntarily provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about KINVA, you permit us to use that feedback to evaluate, develop, and improve the service without compensation or obligation to you.

Providing feedback does not give KINVA permission to publicly identify you, publish your conversations, or use your conversation content for AI-model training.

KINVA is currently offered in early access. The service is still developing, and features may change, be interrupted, contain errors, or be discontinued.

KINVA is currently free. If paid features are introduced, we will present the applicable price and payment terms before charging you.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of KINVA. When reasonably possible, we will provide notice of material changes that affect existing users.

You may stop using KINVA or delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create a security or legal risk, misuse the service, or if KINVA is discontinued.

Account deletion and data retention are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Some information may be retained when required by law.

Provisions that reasonably need to survive termination, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, and dispute provisions, will continue to apply.

KINVA is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that KINVA will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

We do not guarantee that using KINVA will produce a particular outcome, decision, insight, or improvement.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or warranties that cannot legally be limited.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alexandria Glaize and KINVA’s contractors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of KINVA.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability for claims arising from or related to KINVA will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to use KINVA during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where they are prohibited by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us at alex@mykinva.com and make a reasonable effort to resolve the dispute informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved, it may be brought in a state or federal court with lawful jurisdiction in Georgia.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking relief in small-claims court where eligible or requesting urgent relief to protect safety, security, or intellectual-property rights.

We may update these Terms as KINVA changes. When changes are material, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.

Continued use of KINVA after revised Terms take effect means the revised Terms apply. Changes will not retroactively govern disputes that arose before they took effect.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our permission. We may transfer these Terms in connection with the formation of a business entity, financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of KINVA. We will provide notice if that transfer materially affects your rights.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement between you and Alexandria Glaize concerning KINVA.
